Lovely venue, fantastic stuff, and delicious food. Also, the opportunity for a workout if you wish to take the stairs to the top floor! (Lifts are available)

As a member, the IET is a great place, when I visit London I don't have a base. I frequently stop in for an hour or two to get some work done and have some free tea in the members' lounge. It's very well located next door to the savoy overlooking the river on the embankment.

Upmarket place for holding conferences and events. I attended a Summit and was impressed by how well organised it was and by the quality of catering. The main conference room is on the ground floor; suitable for a large capacity and with great audio and visual equipment. Upstairs there are several smaller breakout rooms with great views of Waterloo Bridge and the South Bank. It's in easy reach from either Embankment station or temple Station, both served by the Circle and District line.

A modern conference venue, very popular with many organizations for various events as well as a great global professional engineering society. Excellent AV equipment and fast Wi-fi 6 throughout the building. Try booking the top floor for best views for your audience. For more traditional experience, try National Liberal Club nearby.

Fantastic venue. Gorgeous views of London and the Thames. Panoramic view from the rooftop terrace from Canary Wharf to Westminster and all in between. Absolutely stunning!

A great place for members to meet, and we are allowed to bring guests. Very civilised, with meeting rooms, lecture theatres and a great deal of history. As a freelance consultant I don't know what I would do between meetings in London if it weren't for this oasis. Also the venue for the annual Radio Technology Conference which, given the history of the site, is so appropriate.
